The director of this film is Mikhail Alexandrov. I met him a year ago and he told me that he was looking for a topic for a short film for a competition and he liked the idea of big pumpkins. We discussed the concept of the film with him and he was able to win the competition and get funding for filming.
The film is essentially a documentary, although some elements have been added for intrigue and to enhance the story.
