I kept it after the pumpkin regatta and we did try to paddle it again but again it got cracked on the side. It wasn't too rotten yet but its worm food now. Alternatively, if kept cold (and maybe sprayed with bleach) the pumpkin boat hulls could certainly last a couple weeks and make it to Halloween.
