Tomato patch mowed, fertilized, spread oat seed, covered. The cover is some very high quality horse hay that fell off someone's rig. Thanks for not tying that down well (I picked it up off the side of the road.) The best things are free.
Ducks say "hi we love our new poop place!"
The ducks never bothered the tomatoes despite having ample opportunity to do so.
They ate some lettuce and kale but that was about the only damage they did to any garden stuff.
