The more relevant temp data might be these night temps. The 10 degree difference from 52 on up to 62 is major. Nobody grows watermelons in the areas that are currently 52, that's for sure!
I can see I have been growing in one of the better western Washington microclimates. It gets cold, but other areas might be worse.
My concern at my moms house is that things would get too hot. But the humidity is low.
