Here's a new anti-conspiracy for you... the Titanic DIDN'T sink because of an iceberg:
The dark area in the hull is where there was a fire. Surprisingly, this was factual? There really was a coal fire, apparently. And it sure does line up with the damage. Now, if that was the cause then why the iceberg story? Well as an act of negligence the financial responsibility would be assigned differently than as an "Act of God". How much money? A lot. And how many people would it take to invent the iceberg story?
Cold salt water, metal, and fire don't mix together any better than ice and metal would... so it's interesting. It's interesting that the truth could be something entirely different than what we were led to believe.
Anyone want to say they know for sure it was an iceberg? No one alive today was a firsthand witness and the news reports of that day and age were notably more like storytelling rather than factual... As it still is.
Well, Griity loves the alternative plausibilities.
