I don't know why it took me so long but I just saw Doc Rodebaughs you tube channel. What a great channel! Thank you Doc for making it! Watch this channel to learn how to stop rot in it's tracks! Doc proves that with a very keen eye and careful management rot can be stopped and prevented from spreading. The key is lots and lots of fans!! Air circulation is better than any hydrogen peroxide, daconil or sulfur powder. If I had to choose one treatment for rot and soft spots it would just be blowing air. The recipe is simple clean it up then start blowing air on it. It will dry out!!
