Today I am transitioning the staple of my fertilization program from 12-4-12 to 0-0-25. Last year I used very little 0-0-25 and my big pumpkins were only 2 & 4 percent over the chart. I'm going to use more this year with the hopes of ending up more in the 10 percent heavy range. If everything else lines up (continued great weather, excellent plant health, and me not doing anything really dumb) I think I could be pretty happy at weigh off time!
