							| My 2069 Stelts fruit blossom end split about 3 weeks ago. Then I set a 8 more with the hopes that I might get lucky & have some of them that don't split. Over the years it seems like if you have one that gets a BES, then the next ones will too because they are genetically similar. The new ones were pollinated between July 9 and 13. Our Terminator contest is October 18th. These pumpkins could be 95-100 days old then. I will probably keep most of them on the vine until day 40 or so, because I think there is a high probability that they will all split. Here is the question: how many 700-900 pumpkins should I be able to grow on this fantastic 1200 square foot plant in this manner? I want to grow some paddlers for our club regatta. Please share your thoughts! | | |
