Plamts are doing great. Have been having great weather planted outside the end of April with no heating cables and hoop houses. All nature. I've started to bury vines now that the secondaries are starting to grow. I have a question to you pumpkin growers? I live in New Jersey with high humidity. Im skeptical on burying vines here. Im afraid of diseases and rot. I did this last year and I've uncovered the soil off the vines once that tap root sets in to air out the vines. This is double work. I had some vine issues come end of August which is to early.... burying and unburying and having fans on constantly. Midwest and North America humidity is less so can probably leave the soil on the vines with no issues. Any good ideas on this here on the Eastern seaboard coast?
