							| So you get a popsicle stick & some non-adhesive bandage to attempt to splint the vine together. I did this in 2014 & grew a 1700 pounder that went really heavy. I set that pumpkin 3 feet AFTER the main vine crack. The main developed a big scar node at the crack. I still do not know if this technique actually works or if I just convinced myself it worked. It was as if the main was grafted back together. Does anyone have any thoughts on this???
