Boba Fett -------I will probably not be doing the auctions this yeat and if I do any it will likley not be live. The auctions imo for the most part were just either too long and/or drawn out. 6 - 10+minutes for a 1 or 2 bid lot just does not make sense. The auctioneer has control by using the going once, twice to speed things up and force the habitual going twice bidders to bid faster. The lag on computers is not usually more than a few seconds. IMO the average lot should be 2 - 2.5 minutes whick means a 60 lot auction woule be 2- 2.5 Hrs. Plus there should be many more volunteers or the auctions themselves could have a member post the results. Anyway this is just my observations and the auctions ultimately decide how ehey are going to do it.
