Northeast Mix Grass Seed

Many growers select a mustard or a winter rye cover crop, both of which can be effective. However, since the (current) plan is not to grow in this location next year a more perennial cover crop was selected.

Going the turf grass route can be expensive, but it does produce a dense root structure that is easy to manage for next season and many more to come. It also helps establish soil structure by not having to till the soil, just a shallow raking and planting of the grass seed and the area should be good to go.
