Well I was gifted a seedling ?? the end of June. I planted it July 1st and then pollinated a few flowers. This pumpkin decided it would be my big girl. The others aborted themselves. I measured 2 days ago at per OTT Penelope should be 300 lbs. I haven't fertilized it, didn't trench my vines and it's not on a big enough board. However I have learned a lot from my mistakes and will get more serious next year. For now I am still having fun and with it growing in my front yard, the neighbors just love coming by.
