We had a great time at the Topsfield Fair tonight. Finally got to weigh our 150 Challenge Contest Giant Pumpkin and it did not disappoint! The new "150" World Record was just waiting to get weighed.
This 1552 x 1552 Young cross produced our 1375 lb. pumpkin in 150 Sq Ft of growing area. Still a few weeks to go in the Weigh Off season, (with entries from 41 "150 SqFt" growers World Wide still coming in) but we did officially break the 3 year old 1175 lb Record, set by John Butler from Ontario Canada, with this 1375 lb and new World Record 150 Challenge Pumpkin.
