This morning I found this tiny crack at the blossom so I immediately cut her off of the vine.
As far as I can see the crack does not yet penetrate in to the cavity but obviously it would have done before long had I have left her on the vine.
I have no option now but to take her to malvern tomorrow where there is no category for her just to get an official weight which is gutting as I wanted to weigh her in Southampton as a possible WR contender and GPC first place but that won't happen now.
Provided the split doesn't progress (it shouldn't now she's cut) the best I can hope for is to persuade Guinness to recognise fp's as a WR (assuming she doesn't weigh mega light) she's estimated at 270 lbs.
