The amazing 1885 will stay in the patch until next week when we lift the Spanish pumpkin. Today was DAP90 and tapes a mind blowing 2804lbs and averaged 7lbs a day for the last ten.
I guess we would have had to cut her off anyway because there’s only one inch left on the OTT chart. Just saying.
It’s going to take time for both of us to get over this pumpkin. The 1885 tends to throw out 50% white and 50% orange, well it did in our patch. Because of the fantastic shape and colour we are already working in cloning it for next year.
