Huge collection of pepper seeds. Im debating whether to grow peppers.

Theyre generally not a worthwhile crop in the Pacific Northwest. Last year, I did have better-than-usual results with the few that got planted in with the carrots. I attribute the modest success to fewer insects, due to solarizing, and not too much competition from the carrots.

Unsure when to start them. They are slower than tomatoes, also I'd like to transplant them into solarized dirt, again. When the solarization will be possible is anyone's guess. I guess since I don't know what timing will be best, I can just sow multiple trays. The scattershot approach, is sometimes the solution.
