What a crazy couple weeks it's been. We've had drought conditions most of this summer. Dry, hot, no rain. It was a record high 105° last saturday, then the cold blast moved in and we had snow, frost, freezing rain and high temps only in the 30s and 40s Monday night through Wednesday. Then we will be back up in the 90s to start next week. We have some frost damage, but the plants and pumpkins are just fine for the most part. The pumpkins have even continued to grow despite the freezing cold temps. Only 2 weeks until 1st weighoff!
