Pumpkin update! It�s September 1st and the final push is here. I�m feeling good. The 2051 is estimated at 974 pounds and averaging 10 pounds a day. The 1989 is estimated at 881 pounds and also averaging 10 pounds a day. The plants are definitely showing their age but still have a good amount of plant left. Spend 3 hours weeding this morning. 2051 will likely be going to the topsfield weigh off on October 2nd as it�s taping the biggest. Really hoping for 1,000! 1989 will be going to Rhode Island. I�m amazed at how I�ve only caught 1 SVB this year. I�ve had no bug issues or disease issues this year. Hoping to gain another 100-150 pounds on the pumpkins. 1 month to go.
