Well, the patch is showing signs of the end-of-August drags, especially the 1501 which lost all the leaves along the main vine out to the candidate – and that guy is stuck at 146” circ about 700 lbs. Can’t find the reason – the kin seems solid, the stem looks healthy and feeder main vine looks OK. Washed kins and stems with 10% Clorox last week and sprayed Heritage and Merit today and Daconil and Heritage 10 days ago. Used 5 scoops Jack’s 10-30-20 spiked with some Jack’s commercial “Finishing Fertilizer” (5-17-30) by hose sprayer 3 days ago and heavy watering yesterday – it’s been hot and dry all week. Very worried stuck at same weight for 4 days – Never saw a pumpkin survive that. Nuts. Hate this sport.
