This is my first serious attempt. My seeds came from St. Croix Growers Association and were said to have come from 1000lb+ pumpkin. I tilled this soil for the first time this year and added compost and manure, it was grass before. I used wallace wonder starter packs and have been applying azos. I got a late start due to damage from deer, terminated my main at 12ft and ate my pumpkins. I had to set this on a secondary. Pumpkin is 25 DAP and 172 OTT, estimated at 120lbs. I'm averaging 10-12lbs/day. I'm leaving all vines grow due to not having as many leaves as I would like....not sure if that is the best strategy, but that's what I'm doing. I'll be happy if I can break 200lbs!
