First time grower and have learned so much already and have managed to grow a decent pumpkin so far but I think I made a critical mistake. I hesitated in ordering a shade cloth for the patch and the past week of low to mid 90s has taken its toll. I started watering overhead for three times a day at 15 minute intervals to help cool the plant. I noticed that the leaves were wilting/drooping in the sun and I would water more. Well after reading past messages it looks like I might have done more damage by over watering. The stump is healthy but as you can see I have lost several leaves. I only fertilize twice a week . One day with Raw bloom and the other with a all purpose plant food 10-3-6. So I dont think that Im over fertilizing. My opinion is that I over watered. Please share your opinions of what the cause most likely is and the remedy.
