Outside Plant Site Before Turning on Soil Heating Cables
Even though the cold frame has been assembled, and in place for a few days and it has been quite warm in there the critical root zone temperature clearly is still in winter mode only being 46F (7.8C). This shows the importance of getting the root zone temperature heated up before the plant goes in to help ensure it can be off to a strong start.
