1872 Sippel as you can see still not much for side vines. Roughly 8 feet long and there are finally some secondaries forming. We will have to let some tertiaries grow to fill in the space because for the first few leaf nodes there are no secondaries. Missing 3 or 4 on each side. I am convinced it is just too shaded in this spot. The same thing happens every year in this spot.
