This is some folded up tulle fabric I have placed over the growing tip of the main vine of my 1935.5 Jutras squash. Of course, like everyone else, I have shielded the tips of my main vines with little plastic tables but I have had several occasions where the growing tip has injured itself. I use shade fabric suspended over my plants but this gives another safety measure.
