Soil Heating Cable Preparation
This is the process to bury soil heating cables. First a hole is dug that is about 5ft wide x 6ft long x 1ft deep. The cold frame structure supports are installed first to help ensure that 2/3 of the root zone will be heated.
After the soil is removed a pitch fork is used to break-up the bottom and offer some aeration for improved drainage.
