First ever diary submission. My new personal best, #1891. Pumpkin was 23% heavy, thinnest part of the wall was the blossom end and bottom at 14" thick. Sidewalls were 15 plus inches and stem end was 16 1/2 -17"., with no cracks inside. The mother was the 1911 Urena and the father the 2170 Daletas. The pollinator was my biggest at the time, but split on day 45 after 10 consecutive days of doing 56# a day. It was harvested on day 49 and weighed 1510# at 6% heavy. I split another pumpkin before the pollinator did and one after. The 1911 was the only one I got to the scale from the competition patch. I weighed it the Ohio Valley weigh-off and was very happy to see the weight when it hit the scale. A nice end to a frustrating season.
