Power for the air conditioner is going to come from the outlet. It is a 20 amp circuit going to just one receptacle. Every other room in the house is amp starved except for the kitchen. It has 3 120v 20 amp circuits going to it and a 40 amp 220v circuit. I tapped into the office circuit yesterday. This will be the fourth circuit tapped. Permanent rewiring will be next summers project.
