Indoor tomato started.
I am in bnot. I have a hundred more important things to do but oh well maybe I will learn something. Last year I did not start soon enough. Under LED's --and because I was growing lettuce at the same time-- the temps were kept cooler than optimal and growth was slow. The tomato itself did not get any time to grow before the deadline. I am using seed from my 4.05 Peine plant. I did not weigh any tomatoes off it, but I felt it was my best plant overall, for plant size and production.
It might get neglected but oh well. I'm in. The plan is to move it to a 20 gallon tub... In a few weeks. Then, I will play around with compost tea. It will get some dolomite and some granular and wow myco. Not gonna mess with other fertilizers. Last year... Too much monkeying. And too much watering. I might mix in lettuce... but this year I will be smarter about it and give the tomato a 2-3 week head start. Water shallow for the lettuce. And... maybe get a moisture probe for the tomato.
Thats the plan!
