The 1613 McCracken is Locked in with est wt of 975 for last week, but no sign of rot – stem solid, fruit solid. Most of the main stem is buried and so don’t know about loss of that beyond the devastation near the origin, all signs of the first 3 ft of the vine have long since disappeared. A few volunteers growing here and there on remaining vine, which I’ve kept, like canaries in a mine. Looking forward to the Altoona weigh-off in 3 weeks, if we can survive that long.
