It's game over for Oliver as a sudden and unexpected frost last night has wiped out his plants, in fact all the curcurbits on the allotments have suffered the same. He has two pumpkins circa 200lb each, hopefully they will survive until the Malvern and Southampton shows. The lowest temp in the polytunnel was 5C so lucky for me the 2152 plant was unscathed, and the pumpkin remains intact.
