Val and I are back from our now annual Labor Day weekend Lake Ontario fishing trip. We got an invite from the Chop family to stop by for a visit and after thinking it over we decided that it was our best opportunity to meet my Slammer team captain so off we headed. The Mohawk Valley was beautiful with bountiful apple orchards dotting the countryside. As we got close the gps wasn’t working so I asked several people who were working outside their homes if they new Porkchop and Lambchop. We got the strangest looks. Nobody knew them. I thought we were getting set up. Ahhhhhhh Steve and Jeanne. We made it and they did not disappoint. That guy can grow stuff !!!’
