As the patch fills up we feel we have a bit less work and we also have pumpkins to measure. We are different then most growers as we measure every day and I am a big proponent of doing it as well. Pumpkins will separate themselves in growth patterns that are easy to chart. If a pumpkin is averaging your 2nd highest growth out of 5 pumpkins and it starts to drop in rank there could be an underlying cause that we would not typically pick up on if we were not charting growth.
