Before I could add the admendments, I had to wait for the stump grinder. Then I decided since the tomato patch was the shadiest, i could reduce that by cutting down two more trees. Then marking the area, I discovered 2x40 ft was going to be in air (this garden is elevated). Too much time hand shoveling, and I have the border I want. My body is sore..beer time. Maybe these remaining 55 plants will go in tomorrow. If so, will have to hope the deer have something else to chew on for awhile.
