919 Holland fruit on day 48! Has slowed down to 12 pounds a day over last 3. Plant is showing a fair amount of mildew, needs a spray.The ends of a few vines looked like mosiac had hit. Cut off the bad leaves and deadheaded every vine. Also pruned every tertiary, male and tiny fruit.
Had a bit of a shocker and severed the wrong secondary that the shock absorber was on, then found the right one and severed it. So the main vine fruit lost 40 leaves, which will no doubt slow down growth. Hopefully it will just keep on gaining slowly for another 3 weeks and make it over the line! Set up 6 mousetraps around the fruit for extra insurance, baited with pepita's, lol. Going to give the plant its first fertilize(lightly) in a few days, hopefully keep it growing a bit. Amazing it has made it this big with no ferts used! Not going to measure for another week, as growth is slowing.
