Here is the next step in my grafting, purely precautionary.
I wrap the graft union with masking tape & I stake the plant up.
I think I can recall losing 1 grafted plant beyond this point in the last 4 years but it is unusual .
Still, this might allow a plant to survive a drop or other fumble.
You might chuckle but this is the type of anal precautions which have led to my sparkling success rate of 94% to date.
