Transplanted the 327 Kent. Patch is really dry underneath as in below 8”. I kept the shack over it during winter. I think what it really means is that I wasn’t watering enough last year or any year. Watermelons will suck all the water out. As in all. Like dry your cell phone in dry rice dry. Poured 10 gallons in the planting hole.
