Significantly fewer worms in an area that got thoroughly tilled at the end of June last year. 5 worms in a quantity dirt that would contain 100 elsewhere. Mulch was the same. Heavy mulch, just like the other areas.
Also the tilth is very different in various areas. These are things I never would have paid attention to in the past. Now, I�m trying to learn and make better decisions... The worms do seem to add a lot of gumminess to the soil.
