Started seed germ tests on Fiona 300.5, Paytyns Mr. Hankey 226 & Mr. Puff 225 dmg uow at 7:15 am Monday 10/15 and Fiona's seeds germed at 8:45 pm 10/16 and the other 2 melons are all germed not long after and are all germed this morning 10/17 at 6:00 am. Not too bad for pre soaking an hr in straight bottled water then into the egg incubator at 88 degrees. Will get all seed packets together and out soon! NOTE: I put separated seed groups into individual Ziploc labeled bags between 2 moist coffee filters for germing. Simple & I have potting soil that has been ran through a food processor in containers inside a much larger growing chamber heated to 80 degrees for germed seed transplanting. I do the same thing for readying of plants to be grafted.
