Getting pretty exciting around here even though again it has been cloudy & rainy the last 2 days. Melons are still putting on weight. We are going to Bloomfield Iowa on Sept 29th. I have registered for the NC Fair but Nothing for sure yet where Fiona will end up, Anamosa's Nolin Ryan, Republic Pumpkin Daze or NC State Fair. Will have it figured out in about 2-3 weeks. Fiona's plant seems to be bouncing back from the latest storm, her plant got tore up bad. Lost a lot of leaves at the center of the plant. I'm using our mini van to haul these melons and will remove seats and have figured out to load them from the side doors instead of back being that a forklift can pull right up to the side and grab a pallet easier than dealing with the back hatch door. It will be hilarious trying to get them loaded, lol. Fingers crossed. Does a Royal Flush beat a Full House? Hmm
