I guess it's better late than never to start a diary. Pictured is my best pumpkin at the moment after a rocky season: a 2269 Paton x 1949 Paton, DAP 25, OTT 208, 207lbs.

Here's a summary of my season so far:

I have two patches Patch 1 @1500 sq ft, Patch 2 @900 sq ft. In Patch 1: 2269 Paton. In Patch 2A: 1949 Paton. Also had a ribbon vine 1949 Paton in Patch 2B.

Season was going decently with some late June pollinations. But all pumpkins got blossom end splits.
In Patch 2 I had a pumpkin that got a BES at DAP 18.
Then in Patch 1 I had one at DAP 28.
Then in Patch 2 I restarted and got two good pollinations, which then BES'd at 18 and 14 DAP.

So I had to let the plants grow wild for a little to get additional pollinations.

Patch 2 has a couple of open pollinations a week or so old.

Patch 1 has four pumpkins going on it. I let multiple ones go to give me the best chance of a pollination taking, and also to act as sinks for further BESs. After I cut the split pumpkin off Patch 1 the stump started foaming. Tried boring holes through it, but ended up being an infection. Cut off the stump and 5ft main vine, separating the first two secondaries on each vine from the rest of the plant.

My goal is to get a pumpkin to the scales. Stretch goal is to beat my pb of 482.
