Removed 3 lantern pumpkin plants to make room for big plants. The giant pumpkin plants are so sturdy and strong, the other plants weren’t so hearty. Males bloomed 2 weeks ago, there are several tiny tiny females and one female that is a good size but hasn’t opened and does not look like she will open any time soon. I felt horrible ripping living plants out of the earth but I know it was a good move. There are 3 plants in this picture and they are all close together but each vine has its own path. First year. Any tips for how to arrange the current plants or to help females blossom so i can pollinate? Some plants have two giant vines spreading right and left.
