It has been a tough stretch with the heat (mid 90's) trying to keep up with the vines & it has taken it's toll on a couple of our plants. This plant has aborted all 3 previous sets & pollinated these on a 95 degree day & in reality the first one will be our last chance on the main as we won't keep a pumpkin on past the main vine break (still not sure why I bothered to pollinate it?!?!?!?) It looks good so far & love the 6 segment we have done well in the past with them so am holding our breath & hope for the best.
