Heat index 103 today.
Gave pumpkins a healthy watering and good dose kelp at 1/8th.
Tookbthe advice of others here and tried to till up some of the surrounding land.
- i found that my soil is extremely compacted, im a rather strong individual and utilizing the manual twisted cultivator tiller with foot stomp pedal is very ineffective in my nonplowed yard. So rocky and so much clay,

Spent about 1.5 hours in the heat working on the soil only to break my new hand cultivator, great quality lowes.
Spend a little more time section burying parts of the vine on a low mound, i will eventually work the vine into the original soil as the vibe drops more.
Hoping all the work wasnot to much stress for the plants
-note i did leave segments around parts of the plants non tiled for safeltyvreasons incase i didnot leave a big enough buffer zone for roots there will be atleast some undisturbed soil.
