This is the way I tie my tomatoes up.
I drive in 3 stakes to form a triangle around the plant.
I then loop the twine in this pattern and repeat as the plant grows.
The inner loops support the plant by centering it between the 3 stakes.
The outer loops support the branches as it grows.
