The reason the plant is wet and greasy too is because I emptied an entire container of Sweeney’s castor oil on it to try to drive the last mole(s) out. With thick straw everywhere and baby-sized moles it’s hard to find them but I can still find them by covering everything with a layer of fine dirt, watering, then looking for cracks. It’s tedious setting traps every day and hopefully the greasy mole repellent does not harm the plant at all. I also have an electric buzzer type repeller but it really only works if they have somewhere else to go where the food is equally plentiful. They have been enduring the repeller buzz noise this year, unfortunately.
