Was the morning of seed starting and all through the house not a creature could sleep as the furnace ran constantly and not as quiet as a mouse. The patch that is laden with compost is now covered with snow but we still have hopes that Mother Nature would soon be kind and let us grow. The seeds were all chosen and ready to go and the growers were ready and anxious to sow. The first was from Glenna our friend the orange queen whose pumpkins are so beautiful they just have to be seen. The second is from Rick who has many good seeds our fingers are crossed this will provide an orange monster rising from the weeds. The third and fourth are our own seeds and are orange and sweet, we’re looking to add heavy to help them compete. The fifth is a seed from THoff who is a friend, look out 150 patch competition we plan to contend. The season has started and good luck to you all, if we are fortunate enough we will see you in the fall!
