I read an article on germination of older seeds. The author claimed a high success rate in the germination of old seeds by following certain processes. An older seeds needs moisture, oxygen and simple sugars to stiimulate the enzymes within the seed. Following these guidelines, I soaked all of the seeds in an undiluted solution of 3% H2o2 for 8 hours to kill any pathogens. After a triple rince, the seeds were soaked again in a mix of oxygenated water, one oz. of H202 and diluted molasses 1/10 .
