Did some kind of indoor gardening :) In a couple of weeks it will be Easter weekend and many of us will perhaps prepare some pots of fresh Easter grass for decoration purposes (for hiding some Easter eggs inside the grass, it looks pretty nice on the breakfast table and on the window sill). Therefore, I did a germination test, I bought some generic wheat (for food purposes, here in Germany available in various stores in 1 kg packages at very reasonable price), placed some grains on soil, then covered it with some soil (just a little bit) and watered it, and after six days itīs already some nice Easter grass (another two days maybe and then it should be perfect). Hint: For those of you who want to grow "wheat grass", may it be for Easter deco, for food purposes (because "wheat grass" might be such a great super food, who knows) or for your pets (some indoor pets need some grass occasionally), you may either buy pretty expensive bags with some "wheat grass" seeds, which are sold for those particular purposes, or you may simply buy a large bag of wheat, which is the same (but it may save you alot of money if needed very often).
