The first of the Jan 1st starts to open a blossom. It is dropping pollen lightly. I am going to miss planned pollination date probably by two days but still more than enough time for it to reach full size by first day of spring. It is doubtful that it will be the biggest in this years competition (blossom is too small) but it should prove that January 1st is not too late to start.
